      Q:Have a 42" pivot shower door for are walk in shower. And after about 6 months we always have to replace the magnetic strip door latch because it breaks and then the shower door does not close properly. Do the newer door use the same magnetic strip?

The Vista Pivot II shower door 1500D-31S should have a seal that gets installed into the bottom of the door frame that prevents the water from collecting.           Q:I have purchased the Sterling Medley shower insert 36�34 item #72402800-0. I'm not sure what size of a pivoting shower door I need. Can you help?

          A:  Hello Angi, my name is Kassi with Sterling. I'd be glad to answer your question. The K-72402800 unit would require a 33-5/8" maximum door width. The Vista Pivot door that can be paired with this is the 1500D-36S unit. Thank you for choosing Sterling.

            Q:My door opening is 25 inches by 72 inches, but I only need the door to be 63 inches tall. There's a clear panel above the door, which would be difficult to remove, but I suspect I could, but really would prefer not to. I'm concerned I would damage tile.

I am happy to assist with your inquiry. 1500D-31S requires a finished wall to finished wall opening of 27-1/2"-31-1/4" and a height of 65-1/2"; this door would not work with an opening of 25".
