        Answer This Question

        A:  yes

        by|May 6, 2023

A:  Yes. It also remembers settings during power outage to resume when power is restored.

          by|May 6, 2023

A:  Once the set humidity has been reached the compressor will shut down first and about 3 minutes late the fan will shut down.

            by|May 6, 2023

A:  Yes, compressor first then fan after a short while

              by|May 6, 2023

A:  Yes. When the humidity reaches target level, the compressor shuts off and goes to fan-only. If the humidity stays low, the entire dehumidification mechanism (compressor and fan) shuts off, leaving only the control unit active to monitor the room and restart the system when needed. An excellent system control program, IMO.

A:  The bypass drain is a standard male garden hose fitting. A 45° or 90° bend would be helpful but not necessary.

A:  Water can be automatically emptied into a floor drain by attaching the unit with a water hose (ID>@5/16") with a female threaded end (ID:M=1"). Water hose is not included.

A:  If you are going to setup the dehumidifier for continuous drainage you wound need a low pressure garden hose. The draining is gravity base draining.

A:  You have to tip it to remove it. It's a bit tricky. Tricky to empty without spilling, too.

A:  I use an old garden hose connected to the rear side and it empties into a cooler. I found that I was always empting the bucket all the time. This unit pulled the moisture out of the area twice as fast than my old LG unit and it 3 times quite. .

A:  Yes, it comes out pretty easily. There's a small stop that holds it in place, so you give it a little tug with a bit of lift and it comes right out. One caution, though -- when you have the bucket removed for emptying, there's a dribble of residual water that is still in the internal drain tube, so I would recommend having a small towel to place in the bucket cavity so it does not drip out onto the floor. If you use the option to install a permanent external drain tube as I did, you never have to worry about emptying the bucket. Overall, it's a great performing unit and one I've been very happy with.
