A:  The Palladia Select Cherry Storage Open Bookcase does not have the option of tempered glass doors.

A:  The shelf weight limits are as follows: Top of bookcase - 5 lbs. Middle fixed shelf - 40 lbs. Bottom shelf - 40 lbs. Top two adjustable shelves - 35 lbs. each. Small adjustable shelf behind doors - 30 lbs.

These components are bonded together with a synthetic resin and then applied to high heat and pressure. The result is a dense, strong panel that is laminated and cut into pieces.
