A: Anytime I have ever needed Parts I've went directly to Ryobi
A: google lawn mower repair in your zip code.
A: Several possibilities: 1. Go online to locate replacement parts for this mower. Often, there are suppliers who stock and sell replacement parts. 2. Compare the blade with replacement blades that are available at a number of hardware, farms-and-home, and other stores. 3. Go to the Ryobi website for the manual.
A: Hi PeJa, For any parts you may need to get. Please call our customer service for the best options in your area. 800-860-4050. Thanks for asking. Greg
A: If not found in your local home depot see if you can order it from Home Depot online. Have it shipped to you're house or free to your store for free shipping and pick up. I'm sure one of the associates would be happy to order it for you.
A: HOME DEPOT SKU #: 1001684156
A: Headlights? My version of the mower does not come with any lights. I can't see a use for them either.
A: No
A: Hi, so this model RY40140 which is the 16 inch that uses the 40volt battery does not have headlights. This is the one I have and I love it. I think there is a newer model 16 inch that does have headlights but I’m not familiar with it. You may be able to download the PDF version of the user manual to see if there is a separate control for the headlights.
A: Hi Frankie! The headlights can not be turned off. They will turn off automatically about 60 seconds after the mower turns off. Thanks for the question!
A: My mower does not have a headlight.
A: What "headlights?"
A: Hi, Don- Thanks for the question! Yes, all RYOBI 40V tools and batteries are compatible with one another. We hope this helps!
A: I have several different 40 volt ryobi batteries and they all work with this mower.
A: Yes, it just won't last as long as the 4.0 Ah battery
A: Yes
A: Hi, Eastside: Thanks for the question. Model RY40140 is a kit that includes a battery and charger. However, you can also purchase the battery and charger separately under models OP4050A (5 AH) and OP401A (charger). We hope this helps!
A: I wanted one that came with 2 batteries and charger but Home Depot didn’t have it. I had charger and battery for another tool so purchased a new battery only. Battery I purchased was faulty from the start but Ryobi replacement was free. Home Depot carries the charger and battery but purchasing separately drives up the cost
A: YES YOU CAN BUYING A LAWNMOWER LIKE THIS YOU WILL NEVER WORRY ABOUT MAINTENANCE
A: If you don't have the 40V battery and charger already, you need to purchase the model that comes with a battery and charger. The cost of adding a separate battery exceeds the cost of buying the model with the battery and charger included. One should only buy this model if you already have multiple batteries and a charger from other 40V tools, such as the string trimmer, blower, or hedge cutter.
A: by ordering it. Expect to pay twice as much. We returned the mower.
A: Hi, jack773- Thanks for the question. Yes, all Ryobi 40V tools and Ryobi 40V batteries are compatible with one another. We hope this helps!
A: no, voltage is important
A: It is specified as "40-Volt" for a reason. In addition, the 5 V would not even be built to fit. Keep in mind that incompatible batteries and battery-powered motors have different mounts to prevent such errors that could, in some cases, damage the motors.
A: This uses the 40 volt battery. I think they make a few different kinds and all my 40 volt batteries work. This mower is a great light duty mower but batteries and chargers are unreliable. You WILL need to make some warranty claims to get them replaced. This is how I've been able to see that different batteries work, the warranty replacements, are always of the newest type
A: I would only use the battery that matches the mower.
A: Hi, Juan- Thanks for the question! This model doesn't include a battery/charger, but model RY40140 does! We hope this helps!
A: No, the battery and charger is not included.
A: It says right there in the Description: Battery/Charger Not Included
A: The email I got with this question (Do you include thre lithium battery) also includes this text: Juan has a question about 16 in. 40-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless Battery Walk Behind Push Lawn Mower - Battery/Charger Not Included. We thought you might be able to help. It states in the last line, the answer to your question. Not included!
A: Mine was - it will be reflected in the price if not
A: I do - it's autonomous from anything that could be damaged by water ,much like a gas powered mower .
A: As long as you don't splash any water on the Electric Engine you should be fine Spraying the underneath.
A: Hi, Tag- We don't recommend using water to clean the mower. The manual recommends using a clean cloth to wipe it down. We hope this helps!
A: I use my hands with a Gardening Glove and a firm bristle brush
A: Yes you can hose it down . I left mine out in the rain as long as the plastic cover is over the battery the whole mower can get wet
A: No! It will not work with a 18-volt.
A: No! This particular Model is 40 Volt Only.
A: Highly unlikely, and even if the connections could be made, the mower was designed for the 40V Lithium-ion battery. I think there might be several different RYOBI power rating for batteries that fit (2.6 Ah, 5.0 Ah are common) and are designed for the RYOBI chargers and tools. Stay safe, don't try wiring in your own battery!
A: No, the 40v and 18v batteries are completely different and are not interchangeable.
A: Hi, Tim- Thanks for the question. No, the 40V and 18V platforms are not interchangeable. We hope this helps!
How can we help?
