      Answer This Question

A:  Once fully cured, Rust-Oleum Restore 4X Deck Coat is non-toxic. Please keep in mind that it is recommended for use on exterior wood or concrete surfaces only. If applying to a wood surface, it is essential that the wood is bare and allowed to weather prior to application. We do not recommend this product for use on the interior of the doghouse to ensure proper drying. - Rust-Oleum Product Support 3

A:  Great question! It is fine to wait one week, as long as the surface is clean and free of any dust or debris prior to applying the second coat of our Restore 4X Deck Coat.

                Answer This Question

A:  Allow the first coat of Rust-Oleum Restore 4X Deck Coat to dry 4-6 hours. Extend the dry time if the surface is tacky or soft. Drying times vary depending on temperature and humidity. Apply a second coat using the same method as applying the first coat. Allow the second coat to dry for 24 hours before light foot traffic and 3-5 days before replacing furniture. If the surface is tacky or soft, extend the drying time before putting heavy objects back in place.

A:  I used the 10x on the floor-it dries faster than one might think. About 6 hrs to second coat in my hot southern climate. Walk on it next day gently.
