A: In warm weather. Above 60 degrees i would say 15 mins. It dies really fast.
A: Rust-Oleum Professional Striping Spray Paint is tack free after 10 minutes and can be recoated at anytime. Keep in mind that temperatures will play a factor in the drying of the product so if you have cooler conditions, or higher humidity, allow for longer dry times. - Rust-Oleum Product Support 1
A: The dry time of this paint is 15 minutes.
A: paint drys to touch in 30min. but should dry about 4hrs before allowing cars
A: 24hour full dry time 15min to touch
A: Yes, this paint will work in the Rust-oleum striping wand (inverted spray)
A: use the marking paint not the striping paint
A: Yes, a striping wand can be used with this paint.
A: Thank you for reaching out! Yes, our Rust-Oleum Professional Inverted Striping Paint is compatible with our Rust-Oleum Striping Wand. - Rust-Oleum Product Support 2

A: Rust-Oleum makes a water based striping paint for Athletic Field striping (AF1600): https://www.rustoleum.com/product-catalog/industrial-brands/industrial-choice/striping-paint/af1600-athletic-field-striping-paint/ If using to stripe parking lots I would warn that it may not last as long as the standard striping paint. If being used for marking athletic fields I would recommend purchasing the Athletic Field Striping Machine as it has larger wheels and will roll better on the uneven terrain. Hope that helps.
A: This item listing is for quantity 6 cans of paint
A: I use it to stripe a softball field and probably the lowest temperature I have done is around 45 degrees. Don't recall any specific problems.
A: For curing and spray purposes I would not recommend use of this product below 42 to 45 degrees.
A: Happy to help, Larry. Rust-Oleum Professional Inverted Striping Paint should only be applied when the air and surface temperature is above 32°F and the humidity is below 85% to ensure proper drying. - Rust-Oleum Product Support 5
A: I applied 12 cans during during the summer and the paint was acting like it liked warm weather. I also purchased the rolling spray cart and if you didn’t keep an even pace the paint would pool a little and start to run. The summer heat minimized this - I don’t plan to paint any additional lines until it warms up in Cleveland
A: This paint must be applied when the air and surface temperature is above 32°F and the humidity is below 85% to ensure proper drying.
A: Depends on length
A: Happy to help! Rust-Oleum Professional Striping Paint Spray covers up to 400 feet with a 2-inch stripe and up to 200 feet with a 4-inch stripe. Please keep in mind that coverage is dependent on surface porosity. - Rust-Oleum Product Support 4
A: Each can covers up to 400 feet.
A: There's no real answer. Since these are designed for use in striping machines, the height above the ground will determine your stripe width, which will ultimately determine your lineal feet of stripe. When I'm calculating how much I need, I usually assume I need one can for every 7 parking spots (2 coats)
A: Generally I need about 1.5 cans to strip the foul lines on the first and third base of a softball field.
A: Thank you for reaching out, Erik! Rust-Oleum Professional Inverted Striping Paint features weather and abrasion resistance for durability. This product also has a fast dry and adhesion to concrete, blacktop, gravel, and grass. We do not offer a clear coat for this product for additional protection. - Rust-Oleum Product Support 5
A: I'm not aware of any method that will prevent scuffing or scratching of the paint. Like any common paint I'm aware of it will scratch or scuff depending on the activity it receives. My usage of the paint has been to paint a directional mark on asphalt road surface to direct bicycle riders in the proper direction at road intersections. Our bike routes are often quite lengthy (around 60 miles) and go through rural, central Ky where there are lots of intersections, turns and other required directional needs. So we simply spray directional signals, called 'Dan Henry's', on the asphalt that directs the rider in the direction to follow. Those painted markers receive automobile traffic, weather and any other abuse you can think of and they hold up well. I've seen some of those marks stay on the road for a year or more. Some more visible and vibrant than others, but rarely have I seen any with scratches or scuffing. It's primarily normal wear from traffic and weather. Or hidden by dirt.
A: A couple ways I could see to prevent this, depending upon the type environment it is used in would be to rough grind the surface slightly below the surrounding surface, but not so much as to create a trip hazard, and spray the ground surface. This would help, but will not eliminate the wear. You could then coat the concrete with a clear epoxy resin coating ( this would fully level any grind area), but in anything more than foot traffic, this will also get chewed up. The coating would also darken the color. If it is in a warehouse setting, not allowing the forklift drivers to slide the pallet across the floor would be ideal. Realistic, hardly.
A: I'm not sure I understand the nature of your question, it's striping paint and will be exposed to abuse from foot traffic, tire traffic, etc. Once the paint is cured it holds very well, but that is not to say that it will not scuff or scratch.
A: Nothing, It is for a baseball field
A: Glad to lend a hand! Rust-Oleum Professional Inverted Striping Paint is an oil-based product and this particular product is yellow. It features a fast dry time and adhesion to concrete, blacktop, gravel, and grass.
A: if sealer is oil base wait at least two days to apply white stripe
A: Im not 100 percent sure but my best guess is the paint is absorbing oils from the black top or sealer causing it to turn brown. The black top needs to cool or sealer needs to cure before painting it. Usually why paint crews dont paint newly paint roads right away. My opinion.
A: Yes that is the tip it has.
A: yes it does. it sprays a narrow fan spray in the can inverted orientation using a holder or by hand.
A: yes it is this tip
A: Yes, Rust-Oleum Professional Striping Paints all are manufactured to spray with T Shaped nozzles.
A: YES !! That is the type of tip on these paint cans..
A: either or you can do it by hand or machine as shown on the box does not work with marking wand
A: You can use it by hand but you will not be able to feel your fingers after about 2 full cans. They do sell a hand-held device to help spray the paint.
A: Mark You can operate the nozzle on the can by hand but it is a little awkward. These cans have a nozzle that is designed to fit in the striping machine so it is difficult to use by hand - but can be done. You have to push down on both sides of the nozzle to get it to spray. It you really only plan to use this paint by hand, I would recommend another type nozzle - they are out there - I have bought them in the past for marking firewood. Hope this helps..
A: No, Mark. Using the machine is not a requirement. Invert the can and point at ground or floor. Hold can 4 to 10 inches above the surface to be marked. Press in the nozzle sideways to spray or use Rust-Oleum Marking Wand (#2393000) or Rust-Oleum Marking Pistol (#210188).
A: it is a bit awkward to use by hand but, it works as well as any other paint....in upside down position.
A: yes and with two coats it should last for a long time in Florida, here in Minnesota it last 2.5 years with plowing the snow.
A: Thank you for reaching out, Rick! Rust-Oleum Professional Striping Spray Paint produces durable, long-lasting bright lines that withstand weather and wear. To help extend the life of a coating, we recommend applying to a thoroughly clean and dry surface.
A: very good on concrete, will last up to two years per my experience
