Q:Can this cut compose boards

Answer This Question
A: This can cut a variety of boards but it depends on the thickness and board hardness. I used this bit to cut 1/4" thick peg board to make holes for the electrical outlets and switch boxes. It cut thru the peg board with no problem. I've also used it to cut 1/2" MDF sheets and it worked but was slow to cut.
I liked using it on the peg board but I wouldn't recommend it on the MDF sheets.

A: It's pretty smooth, smoother then a table saw. But it will take forever to cut, because the bit gets real hot lime a drill. You must stop & pause every 30 seconds or so to cool down the bit
