                  Q:It says not to run romex in conduit. But in my barn the lights/plugs are within my horses range. For safety reasons cant it be enclosed in conduit?

                  A:  The code says that you can run it for protection so that area where the horse can get to it running in conduit

                    A:  You can but I would suggest using the heavier gauge metal conduit not pvc. Never know what the horses will chew on.

                      A:  That's correct, NMC cable cannot be run in condiut. It should be run to a junction box and changed over to conduit in which you need to run THHW wire in the conduit.
