Q:doesn't a rod of this length ( very long ) with heavy drapes ( 95 inches ) need a center support? don't see one in specifications.

A: Hi Ronne, This set comes complete with a total of 4 brackets to be configured however you choose. Depending on features and weight of the curtain, you can sometimes use only 2 brackets to complete an installation, particularly if the curtains are light.
