A: You’d need a much larger breaker and wiring, if your panel will even support it.

A: Hello,
240V units can be used on 208V single phase but will result in a 25% reduced temperature output.

A: Hello Paul,
These units may be installed in an attic as long as it is installed on a solid and secure surface in an upright and level position. Answer This Question
A: Hello Daxx,
The RETEX-08 has 1/2" compression water connections with 1/2" NPT adapters included. This product is designed to be installed indoors only. You may install your unit in an outdoor location so long as it is mounted in a suitable enclosure that protects it from rain, splashed water, direct sunlight, debris, and insects. Depending on the water quality and the hardness of the incoming water, maintenance may need to be performed every 6 to 12 months, and sometimes more frequently. You may check with your local water service provided to obtain the hardness of water in your area.
