            Q:Building a bunkhouse with only 1 bathroom (tub/shower and lavatory). Looking at either RETEX-13 or RETEX-18. Which would be a better unit? Can they be installed in the attic? If installed in the bunkhouse, how much heat do they emit? Thanks

                    A:  For the 3.5/gpm it draws 75 Amps. The picture on the product page says two 40amp breakers required.

You may install your unit in an outdoor location so long as it is mounted in a suitable enclosure that protects it from rain, splashed water, direct sunlight, debris, and insects. Depending on the water quality and the hardness of the incoming water, maintenance may need to be performed every 6 to 12 months, and sometimes more frequently. You may check with your local water service provided to obtain the hardness of water in your area. Isaiah
