Answer This Question

A:  No. You will need the next smaller size. A 14.5” opening is close to an exact fit. Attach two sides, bottom, and back. This is the opening, not the door size. A 15+” opening will work. You only attach to one side, bottom, and back. Mounts solid.

by|Dec 19, 2019

A:  No, it will not fit your opening.

      Answer This Question

A:  If your max depth is 11 inches, this one would be too deep for your use. It is a single tier, though. Works by screwing the bottom frame to the 'floor' of your shelf area; then the chrome basket slides easily forward towards you. The wire sides keep stuff from falling off during the action. A very high quality item -- we have ours inside our bathroom vanity under the sink, with a plastic shoebox bottom to prevent any drips from cleaning supplies.

A:  I have enjoyed using these shelves, relatively easy to install and so far have held up well. Both shelves slide when needed, and I have installed different sizes in all of my bottom shelves so far.

A:  yes this rack would work. I love them. I have them in all my cabinets.

            Answer This Question

A:  If you pull the drawer out as far as it comes there’s a little black lever on each side of the rails that needs to be pushed. I believe one goes up, the other down. Press both and pull. It will need a tug.

            by|Sep 13, 2019

A:  Pull the basket all the way out as far as it will slide. Find the mid point on each of the rails, right and left, and locate the small plastic levers. Each lever needs to be depressed at the same time then the basket can be pulled completely out. (One lever may go up and the other side down)

                Answer This Question

A:  The drawers are basically 14 in wide. The .375 is only slightly more than a quarter in. overall, And that is about 1/8 in on each side when centered, and almost insignificant. So would fit into a 15 in space. Just make sure you see that your clearance space width ALSO includes the edge of your cabinet doors when open as well as the hinges. More to consider than just the cabinet width itself.

                by|Aug 15, 2019

A:  That gives you a very small clearance on either side of the cabinet. However, the basket does come apart from the base regardless of what you may have read from other reviews and that makes installation easier. As long as there is enough clearance at the front of the cupboard, you should be good. These chrome baskets are the best quality you can find. They roll out smoothly and evenly and they are very solidly constructed.

                  by|Aug 14, 2019

A:  Clearly a typo. 14.5" opening is required per specs. There is no way you'd be able to pull it out with a lesser opening.

                    by|Aug 12, 2019

A:  This fits perfectly in a 15” opening. The shelf itself is 14.25 wide. My cabinet is 18” overall width.

A:  Each unit requires installation of a metal framework. Two pull-outs cannot be side by side; each requires its own framework.

A:  yes, You might consider the double Decker. It's a one piece unit, I believe it comes in multiple dimensions. I have them thru out my bottom cabinets. Leave 1/4 inch per unit, 1/8 inch per side. Make sure you are measuring the front of the cabinets, door frame to door frame, NOT WALL TO WALL. Hope this helps

A:  Yes, since the total width of 2 would be 28.8" this should be fine. That even allows for a 1/2" for each of the hinges on both sides.

A:  In my case, I was able to mount the track to the floor of the cabinet only without any attachment to the sides of the cabinet or any center divider.

A:  Yes it can. The inside track screws to base.

A:  The tracks mount to the floor of the cabinet so this will work for your application.

                                      by|Nov 15, 2018

A:  The tracks are easily anchored to the base (floor) of the cabinet.

A:  Yes. It gets mounted to the floor of the sink cabinet with two (2) screws in the back and two (2) screws in the front. Just make sure you have enough room to close the cabinet door. I haven't "installed" mine and it works fine without securing it to the cabinet floor.

A:  The tracks do not need to be mounted to a vertical surface. I mounted my unit horizontally to the bottom of the cabinet using the two pre-drilled metal cross pieces.

A:  Mounting is all done on the floor of the cabinet, no vertical surface is used.

A:  According to my measurements, you would not be able to install this rack in a 19" deep cabinet. The rack itself is 21.75 inches deep. This brand does offer same rack in 19.5" depth (packaging will say 20" deep). Check Home Depot's online supply.
