A: You can use any type of wood, but typically interior of cabinets are all mainly made out of Maple plywood. However, if you are not concerned about it matching you can use Oak, Poplar, Hickory, etc. The width or in this case the depth (front to back) only needs to be about 4" or longer.

A: I assume you are talking about outside dimensions. So this would be a 42" wide Pantry Cabinet and not sure of your cabinet opening but will assume it is 18" Wide. You could purchases the entire unit as it would fit with out any issue, but I am afraid you will be wasting a lot of space. I would recommend one of our roll out pantry systems. Either the 448-TP, 5343, or 5350 Series. They will utilize your space better. Again, this is all based off of the little information provided.

Q:Are the door shelves 51" high? I have a 52" high cabinet but it has face frames all the way around making the usable space on the door about 49".

A: The middle board should be at least 17-1/2" D, but of course can be deeper depending on your type of cabinet.
