Q:can i just leave the cabinet door attached to the main body of the cabinet almost as a false door. i don?t won?t to remove the door from the hinges but would like to use this product

A:  Unfortunately this product was designed to have the door hinge removed and attached to the product. This is very common to do and you should not worry to have your door removed and attached.

    A:  Yes they can. If each opening on both sides of your pantry is 8.5" or larger then yes this will work. Each unit would attach to it's own door.

        A:  I bought one to use as a food pantry since there is very little storage in my kitchen. It worked perfectly and I am very happy with the result that a seldom-used broom closet has been converted to a much-needed pantry. I highly recommend it.

          Q:It seems some feel the rolling mechanism is low quality. It's hard to tell from the photos. Is there a way to upgrade the roll out mechanism before installation to a more sturdy, higher quality one ?

          A:  The slide on the unit is very robust and heavy duty. It is rated to hold up to 250lb and will still function and soft close under this amount of weight.

            Q:Can this be installed without a surrounding pantry cabinet? I am thinking of opening a wall and recessing one of these into an existing void space. Does it mount only on the bottom?
