A: You can certainly use the Rest Rite 14 in. metal bed frame as a stand-alone frame, without another bed. And you don't have to use a box spring with this frame. Just put your mattress directly on this frame.

Q:Can this frame sit inside a queen bed frame that has under bed drawers?

Answer This Question
A: I don't know if this would be able to fit inside another bed frame, but I have been able to find basic rolling plastic drawers to fit under this frame. However, you can only fit them horizontally, not vertically because of a bar.

A: Not sure. I suggest you check all the measurements. We put this metal frame directly on the floor.
by|Apr 3, 2020
A: I don't have experience with trying to fit this frame inside another frame, but this metal frame exactly fits a queen size mattress so I don't think it will fit inside unless the other frame is a couple of inches wider. The legs in the middle might interfere with under-bed drawers but again just a guess without knowing anything about the other frame.

A: Yes, the Rest Rite 14 in. Metal Platform Bed Frame can fit inside a traditional bed frame, in place of slats.
