A: Yes. I have not use it yet, but purchase one before and works great.
Needed it to plug it to the other one i so didn't have to move generator to
plug in connection located at the back of home. Until i get plug connection moved by electrician.

A: Its 20 Amps. So whether you have a 5000 watt or a 15000 watt generator, it still can handle 20 amps. Most circuit breakers or fuses are in a house are 20 amp these days.
Easily will handle most items in any house.
