              Answer This Question

A:  Hello MM, thank you for the great question. We only offer the Natural color in the two sizes, 36" x 72" and 48" x 72" and do not custom manufacture them. The only shade we offer in a size of 48" x 90", is the white light filtering pleated paper shade found here, https://www.homedepot.com/p/Redi-Shade-Cut-to-Size-White-Cordless-Light-Filtering-Privacy-Temporary-Shades-48-in-W-x-90-1601091/202617387 . For a larger window, if you would like to use the Natural color, you can overlap the shades and place end to end, cutting off any excess material. Here is a link on how to overlap, https://redishade.com/how-to-cover-extra-wide-windows/ . Please let us know if we can help you further with any other questions, Redi Shade Customer Care

A:  Hello Michele, thank you for reaching out to us. The shade should remove easily and cleanly when applied to a clean, dry surface. Our shades stick well to most surfaces, but may not stick to some; such as wallpapered, freshly painted (within 30-90 days), high gloss or textured surfaces. We do not recommend placing the shades on drywall, bare, varnished or lacquered wood surfaces. We also recommend adhering shades to a clean, dry, smooth surface. Depending on the type of surface, another area may need to be chosen to stick the shades to such as the metal framing or directly to the window glass. If adhesive residue may occur try rolling off the residue using your fingers. If the first technique does not work, apply rubbing alcohol to residue and let sit for 10 minutes. Next, with a putty knife or spatula, remove residue gently to avoid damage to your window or frame. If the first two suggestions do not work, use Goo Gone (Product found in many hardware stores and recommended for removal of sticky residue). Apply Goo Gone directly to residue with soft pad (Folded cloth or paper towel). Let soak for 10 minutes. Then, with a putty knife or spatula remove the residue. Use a gentle touch to avoid damage to window or frame. Note: Plain white towels are recommended, due to the transferring of ink that may occur from using printed towels. Before using any of these recommendations, please test in small area first. A:  I bought the black one because I work nights. They completely block out the sun. Absolutely, these would work. They are so easy to put up. I bought mine larger and used a limb lapper to cut them to fit. You literally peel off the strip and they adhere to your window frame. Easy peasy.

A:  Hello Alix, thank you for the great question. I would recommend looking for a Light Blocking , Room Darkening or Blackout Shade. These are going to be the best styles for blocking light coming in, and cutting the heat. A:  Hello Jessica, and thank you for your question! The Redi Shade Natural Paper Light Filtering Shade has a maximum width of 48"; however, you can overlap two shades to cover a wider width. Another alternative is to try one of our other shades, such as Artisan Custom or Artisan Select. Both are available as a custom order, with sizes in increments of 1/8".
