Q:Is there a wire grate in the firebox for the wood? The one I have now has one so the wood is not directly on the metal box.Thanks!

      A:  No, it cannot be used with natural gas.

        A:  Yes, you can convert this and any wood burning fire pit into a gas burning one very easily! Search EasyFirePits and look at their Gas Kits and Stainless Steel Burner Rings. Also a lot of tips, info, and Q&A about converting over to gas.
