A: Hi Lawnmaster,
Thanks for visiting our site!
There is a distance control dial that varies the watering stream from 21 ft. to 45 ft. Look for the green ring, or pattern disc on top.
Push the green pattern disc upwards to reduce the distance of spray, or down to increase the distance. As the sprinkler rotates, the Smart Arm design follows the curves of the pattern disc and varies the distance of spray.
Thank you for asking,

A: Hi DawnD, to adjust your Ray Padula Smart Spray Contour Sprinkler to rotate in a full circle, simply lift up the metal "U" clip that is currently in-between the green pattern adjustment collars. This will allow for complete clearance of the collars and a full circle rotation.

A: Hi milosama, as of right now the Smart Spray Contour Sprinkler is not available on a spike. You can however attach this sprinkler to any standard sprinkler spike (with a 1/2 in. female thread) if you have one.

A: Hi Nirvana, you bet you can! Just spread the green pattern rings to a half circle, 180 degree position, and push the “U” shaped metal pin downward in-between the collars. This will only allow the sprinkler to rotate within the pattern set by the green rings. Even better, you can adjust this sprinkler to water any part of a circle you wish – from 20 degrees to a full 360 degree circle.
