A: Hello,
We recommend hanging your fly ribbon away from anywhere that you may accidentally "touch" it. If you are confident that it will not get in the way of daily activities, it is a great spot.

Q:How do you hang them

Answer This Question
A: Pull the top of the ribbon open and a little loop and a thumb tack is there. You can hang it by the loop or the tack. If you have a plant hanger in the ceiling, that works great also.

A: Pull the red ribbon on the top. The lid will have a tack in it. Use the tack to attach the ribbon to the ceiling and pull down until it’s mostly out. Twist to loosen it to desired length.

A: The other answers gave you the specifics but, before you hang one, hold it tightly in the palm of your hand for a couple of minutes-The warmth will make it much easier to unroll.

Q:It says ok for outdoor use so if I put a few outside and it rains, are they still sticky & ok to use or do they have to be thrown out?

Answer This Question
A: They are still sticky in the rain, though they do not hold up as well as another brand I have used. If you want them to last outside you need to have them be somewhat sheltered from the rain and wind.

A: I've used mine outside in the summer by the trash cans and they get rained on but are still good after that.

A: The treatment on the fly ribbon that is supposed to attract flies and then prevent them from flying away will be diluted or washed off as soon as the fly ribbon is subjected to watering or rain.
