Q:Does this unit have a blower off delay when running under heater mode? Also is it TRUE 7 day programming? The last one I got said 7 day but was really a 5+2 program.

A: Yes, it is a true 7 day thermostat with 4 settings for each day. I didn't believe it has a delay but relies on the furnace to control the blower. It has a FAN setting for continuous blower operation. An added feature is the AUTO setting that will automatically switch between heating or cooling depending on temperature settings and the ambient room temperature. And you can set it to automatically change the clock to match Daylight Saving time changes. We have 8 of them in our commercial building.

A: Yes, each day (with four phases, wake, depart, return, sleep) must be programmed individually. All for heat and cool. There is a fan selection with on, off, auto. Under auto there is no blower unless the furnace is trying to reach its targeted standby temperature. I do not know that it can be "delayed" when the heat is running. I've never tried to run it under the 'off' position. Hope that helps.

Q:how to install a new battery?

Answer This Question
A: Hi Tom! The batteries are located at the back of the thermostat. To take your thermostat off the wall, grab the face-plate from the top and bottom and pull it towards you. The thermostat should pop off the wall. This thermostat requires 2 fresh AA alkaline batteries and we recommend to replace them once a year. Thank you for reaching us out and hope you have a great day!

A: I don't claim to know what I am talking about, so check your manual first, but here is my experience.
The face snaps off from the base, do it from the top first then the bottom,
Now you can install the AAA batteries make sure the polarity is correct, it should come on right away.
reverse for install, bottom first, then make sure the electrical pins line up with the socket on the base before snapping the top back on.
Do not pull off or push on from the right or left side, you can mess up the electrical pins.
