Q:Can this be used as the adhesive between new marine carpet and worn out marine carpet? Present carpet has virtually no knap and as worn through to wood decking in several areas. Can't upload photo.

A: No, Roberts 6700 recommended substrate: Concrete, APA rated marine grade plywood, fiberglass and aluminum when surface is clean and roughened to promote bonding. Subfloors must be structurally sound, dry, smooth, flat (≤ 3/16” within 10’), level and free of excess moisture/alkali and all substances (oil, wax, debris, paint, sealers, adhesive residue, etc.) that may inhibit the bond of the adhesive or the performance of the flooring or its installation. Refer to ASTM F710-23
