A:  No it will not, this tool is for a sink.

A:  China, stated on package of Ridgid faucet tool purchased a year or so ago.

A:  In the past I've had good luck with a small pair of channel lock plyers. I like the KNIPEX brand.

A:  No, this tool is for the water connections, it will not remove the strainer. Mike

A:  It worked for me. I had to hold them straight while using the tool though.

A:  What are you using it on. If you are siding it on a faucet and the nuts are rounded off my suggestion is to cut the entire old faucet out. It won’t hurt it since your removing it anyway. A clean cut and then just install the new faucet. It’s what I did!

A:  It works fine if the shank locknut is not glued. However, when the locknut is glued, I used a drill to break the locknut first. Yes, I used a drill to tear/break loose the plastic locknut since none of them was needed for the new faucet. In case the same part is needed, just buy a same size replacement.
