A:  I am sure the Ridgid Digital Miter Gauge will fit your table saw. The gauge has slide adapters so it can be set-up to fit 1/2 in., 5/8 in. and 3/4 in. table slots. If I remember correctly, the Ridgid TS24121 has a 1/2" table slot,

A:  I did find a parts breakdown for the saw part number you listed but the miter gauge item had no measurements for the bar (or rod as they called it). I would suggest measuring your miter gauge bar (or the slot on the table top). This measurement must be the standard size of 3/4 inch wide by 3/8 inch deep. I have used note book paper shims in my miter gauge to take out some of the play in my 3/4 inch slot. They were fitted between the two parts of the bar. The following was copied from the manual: The digital miter gauge is a smart tool that increases efficiency in woodworking projects. It was designed by a professional woodworker for woodworkers. It sets crosscut angles and table saw blade angles from -50° to +50° with ±0.1° accuracy in a matter of seconds. For use with all bench, portable, and stationary table saws with 1/2", 5/8", and 3/4" slots and 5/8", 3/4", and 7/8" T-Slots with the slot depth of 3/8" or 1/2".

A:  You will need to put a piece of playing card between the bars . The Craftsman saw is not really 5/8 ( .625 ) rather it is .640. This worked well for me.
