A: unlikely, but even if it did this thing is still just a piece of junk. don't bother with it.
A: yes
A: This small drain snake is better suited for sink and lavatory drains, tub and shower drains also. For toilets , a tool called a closet auger is better designed for stoppages in those and that tool can also be purchased at Home Depot.
A: it should but the one I bought did not work on anything. it is a poorly made piece of junk.
A: I would think it would work ok for a toilet. I haven't used mine for that application though.
A: Yes sir it did!
A: I think it's 25 ft long, so you could most likely reach from the roof to where the fitting turns horizontal underground, but I wouldn't count on much clean out beyond that...and the cable is pretty small... more suited for sink, and tub/shower drains...
A: I don't know how long the pipe is, but the tool has 25 feet of cable,
A: That depends on several factors. 1) My Kwik-Spin is only 25' and it doesn't go 25 ft because it curls while feeding decreasing travel distance to the blockage. 2) Larger diameter pipe will shorten travel distance to blockage even more 3) Finally, if you feel the blockage is within 20 ft or so it will probably work. Hope this helps...
A: I have a one story house and used it for the kitchen sink, shower, bathroom sink and it has work great!
A: The cable in this unit is 25 feet in length and is capable of clearing soft obstructions in ½” to 1-1/2” lines. Keep in mind that while it has a 25’ cable the effective distance reached will more likely be 22 feet as you need some residual cable left in the drum in order for it to continue rotating when the drum is turned.
A: This weighs 3.85 pounds.
A: About four pounds.
A: A lot
A: About 3 lbs
A: Have no idea what it weighs. It broke the first time it was used and went in the trash,
A: Yes
A: I would guess yes, but I only tried to make it go through an elbow down from the drain after took out the trap and went straight into the open pipe.
A: yes
A: It was nearly impossible for 1 person to do, if one person turned the handle and a second person kept feeding the cable it worked well. When I tried to do it my self the cable would just spin and just keep backing up out of the drain.
A: First of all, this particular item is not something I would own. I bought and returned it. Having said that, you should be very cautious about trying to get it around your P-trap. It might fit, but in trying to wind it around the curves you might also break through the P-trap. P-traps are fairly easy to remove and available in case you need it. Once you remove you can use this cheap, inadequate wire down the drain. You will wind forever, but it might work.............good luck!
A: Nope
A: Hi jake, we do offer RIDGID 1/4 inch cable options on Homedepot.com that may suit your needs. Please review the products at the link I have provided below to see if any will work for your project. https://www.homedepot.com/p/compare/?errorURL=ProductAttributeErrorView&langId=-1&storeId=10051&catalogId=10053&prodComp_0=202826680&prodComp_1=202826631&keyword=1/4%20in.%20max-core%20cable Thanks for shopping Home Depot!
A: This product is compatible.
A: YES
A: absolutely!
A: Theoretically, it should work, assuming you want to feed it into the toilet itself. However, be careful as it might get hung up in the initial twist of the toilet. It might work better if you have a cleanout close. In general, I think this is a poor product and I threw mine away. It takes forever to crank in or out using the crank. Never worked for me when I was trying to clear some storm drain pipes under my driveway.
A: I have not used this on one but if you can enter the sewer and reach the clog before reaching the 25' end of the snake than this will clear almost type of clog. The size of the hair clumps that Ive fished out its no wonder nothing was draining.
A: I wouldn't advise using this tool. There is another tool to use... Homeowner Toilet Auger Model# BC40030
A: No, you can not put a 35 ft line in this unit.
A: I would say no just based on the size of the drum.
A: i eould not suggest it.
How can we help?
