A:  Yes. My floor was porcelain. Cuts tile very well.

A:  Yes this cutter is designed with ceramic and porcelain tiles in mind

A:  Yes it is designed to score porcelain tile however not all porcelain is the same and I have installed tile that would not snap well at all and had to Use a wet saw for the cuts.

A:  yes, however sometimes the backing on glass tile will splinter and make the glass look chipped, so if you score from the backside which will also cut the backing at the same time it will make the cut look much cleaner.

A:  Yes it will but sometimes if the tile has a white backing you need to score from the back so the white backing doesn’t tear unevenly.

A:  Hi Victor! We haven't tested our cutting wheel with the Kobalt manual tile cutters. Our wheel is ball bearing and the Kobalt lists ball bearing as well. Some cutting wheels are interchangeable, but we would suggest trying to see if the width fits, if it does it should work great.

A:  This 7/8 in. size fits QEP/BRUTUS models 10500, 10600, 10800, as well as many other brands of manual and handheld tile cutters. Compatibility cannot be assured with unspecified brands.

A:  Cutting wheels can get "stuck" with tile dust. There is no magic to remove - just pry out with screwdriver. I guess "handy" is a subjective word.
