Q:How do I get the lamp to hang level? Lower part of lamp (below chains) pivots around the center point but one end of the horizontal part of the lamp is heavier than the other and hangs lower no matter which end it is on.

      Answer This Question

A:  Thank you for your recent inquiry with The Home Depot. This fixture should hang level, maybe check and see if one glass feels heavier than the other if so, contact Home Depot and have them order replacement glass. Or you can return and reorder, we have not received issues on this fixture and we will be glad to help you on this situation. Thanks!

Q:Can you mount it directly to the ceiling box without using the chains?

              Answer This Question

A:  I don't believe so. Our electrician shortened the chain a bit, but could not mount it directly.

              by|May 3, 2023

A:  While you can shorten the chains, they are still needed to install it via the canopy cover. That cover what will cover up the junction box, so it can't be altered or removed, but again, you can reduce the amount of chains there though. Joseph

Q:Do the glass shades come in other colors?

                Answer This Question

A:  No, I am sorry this is the only color shade available for this fixture.

                by|May 3, 2023

A:  No. However, we did notice that you could change the shading of the color of the glass easily, just by changing the tone of the bulbs that you use. We accidently put in two different CFL bulbs, one bright daylight, and one "warm" toned, and the difference was quite marked- the "warm" one made the shade almost carmel in tone, while the daylight was more of a blue/purple. We had to go out and buy new bulbs that matched- it made THAT big of a difference!
