        A:  This fixture could be installed in an entryway/foyer, hallway, bedroom, family room ... really just about any room inside the home. Because it does not mount directly to the ceiling, illumination from the light bulbs both transmits through the glass shade and reflects off the ceiling to provide whole room lighting. This fixture also has the bonus feature of being able to install as a hanging pendant with the included hardware if you have a ceiling higher than 9' or an angled ceiling.
