Q:Can this fixture be connected to an original 3" junction box?

A:  Thank you for your recent inquiry with The Home Depot. It is designed to mount to a standard 4” hexagonal recessed junction box. The holes on the mounting plate provided with the fixture are spaced at 2 ¾” Thanks!

    A:  Thank you for your recent inquiry with The Home Depot. The GU24 are not dimmable unless you use a dimmable version of the GU24 bulb. The bulb packaging will indicate if they cannot be used in an enclosed fixture or used with a dimmer. Thanks!
