A:  Hello Simon, The AirPro 72-in. Extension Downrod does not feature the ability to be cut to the desired/custom size. The AirPro Downords are offered in multiple lengths and the desired length would need to be selected from one of the sizes offered. Thank You

A:  Thank you for your recent inquiry with The Home Depot. This 3/4 in. x 24 in. Downrod for use with any Progress Lighting or Thomasville lighting ceiling fan. It has not been tested with all other brands of fixtures. Thanks

A:  Since we do not make Hampton Bay fans, I cannot say for 100% certain that our downrod is compatible, but from my experience we are compatible most of the time. For Oil Rubbed Bronze, you might prefer our model P2607-20 (Ant. Bronze) instead of the -77 Forged Bronze finish. You can contact Hampton Bay at 855-HD-HAMPTON
