A:  From the manual: "Do not use an extension cord with conductors smaller than 16 gauge (AWG) in size. To reduce power loss, use a 14 gauge extension cord if longer than 100 ft." While this doesn't tell you the gauge of the cord they're providing, it would stand to reason that it's a 16 gauge since it's a 50 ft cord.
