Q:Hello, can this be installed outdoors on stucco? Or is there anything specifically made for stucco? I have a gate and don’t want it swinging and damaging the stucco when it opens.. thank you

These wall protectors can be painted to match the wall color, but be sure to check the paint manufacturer's instructions to see if there are any special indications for painting over plastic or vinyl surfaces. A: As long as decent paint like Glidden Premium or Behr it covers in 2 coats and adheres fine, the smooth ones however don't turn out so well so stick to the textured ones like this if most likely to paint over to match wall cover.

These wall protectors are adhered to the walls with 4 - 6 pieces of dual stick tape, and depending upon the length of time its been on the wall, it could have a fairly strong hold. Regardless, the protectors should be able to be easily pried off, and for any remaining adhesive stuck on the wall, try using an adhesive removing solvent like Home Depot's "Goof Off", Model # FG791, Internet # 205546709, Store SKU # 1001031662, which is an 8 oz. pourable adhesive removing liquid. If using this product, be sure to use it as per manufacturer's instructions, being sure to test it in an inconspicuous area to ensure it will not damage the paint.
