A:  The 3/8” is the top part of the “saucer” It fits in the rail and the “wheel” slides under the rail. The spring holds the top projection in the rail. The spring also makes it much easier to mount and I mount the doors

Kindly contact the Customer Service personnel at Prime-Line Products regarding the track included in these kits: Item no. 164684 for 24 in. track, #164685 for 30 in. track, #164686 for 36 in. track, and #164687 for 48 in. track. Photo attached below of how these fit together. Note: The tracks used in the kits listed and depicted in attached photo are compatible with this top guide wheel, but the wheel may disengage if there is any sag or drop in the bi-fold door/s.
