A: A shower door that slides off the track could be caused by door track not installed level, or the wheels on top of door frame need be adjust to prevent sliding off by gravity. In either case, you can adjust the height of one or both wheels on top of the door, without relying on a magnet which none of my five shower doors, in 3 houses installed by me, has one.

Q:do you have this in a metal format? i have one very small hole in a framed sliding shower door that accomodated a handle. I dont want to risk breaking the glass with drilling new holes in a flimsy diecast/sheet metal frame.

A: These are plastic ad you likely know, I have seen metal ones, but the holes need to match up for you to install. You might ask home depot customer service to find metal ones.

A: I haven't seen them in metal. I used them to replace plastic ones just like them. They are screwed into the same small hole in the metal frame that was used for the previous handles. There was no need to drill any more holes.
