A:  Thank you for your inquiry regarding this item from Prime-Line Products. The inside and outside handles are not "handed" meaning the handle points in a certain direction and cannot be changed. Each hand is held onto a base plate by screws on the backside of the plate. You can take the screws out and reverse the handle direction and then reinstall the screws. The lever latch in the handle is positioned to work with the mortise latch in your door. A:  The handle type you referenced (no. 049793012807) is a mortise handle… if this is the style you need you can look up item no. C-1330 which is the handle with the closest dimension we have to 6-1/2” at 6-9/16” hole spacing. If the handle type you need is a Flush Handle as you described, look up item no. C-1099 at www.homedepot.com, or item no.’s C-1074 and C-1135 at www.primeline.net which can be special ordered at your local Home Depot.
