A: Very simple , there are 2 sides which you need to push in to loosen the notches that hold the wheels in place and you slide out the old one and push the new one in until the notches catch and lock it in place. No need to remove the screw, as the head of screw should fit threw hole on screen door. Once in adjust screw so screen door slides how you would like it.
A: Thank you for your recent inquiry regarding this item from Prime-Line Products. Kindly follow these simple steps that should get you through the project: 1. [Fig. E] Back out adjustment screws to remove screen door. Once the screen door has been lowered in height, grab hold of the door, lift it upward, and then swing the bottom outward away from the track. You may need to insert a flat putty knife between the bottom wheels and the top of the track to hurdle the wheels over the track. 2. [Fig. A] Peel back spline to release roller adjustment screw; remove 2 screws through bottom of door, then pry out the old roller assembly. 3. [Fig. B] Insert new roller using edge of flat head screwdriver to press in. 4. [Fig. C] Fasten with screws through bottom. 5. [Fig. D] Roll in spline over screen mesh and adjustment screw. You can also use a flat head screwdriver if a roller is not available. 6. [Fig. E] Adjust height as necessary. A: Hi Paul, To install this roller, you must first remove the screen door. Next remove the two screws holding the roller in place. Now remove the old roller and install the new roller. Finally reinsert the screws to hold the new roller in place. Mike
A: Removing the old ones may be difficult. The locking tabs on the sides prevent them from being pushed out of the slots opposite the direction they were intsalled. I broke the attaching ears and pushed the old rollers through. Installing is easy, but be careful how hard you press them in. Go slow and easy while engaging the locking tabs. If you push too hard or too fast they will pop in quickly and break the attaching ears off. Also, depending in the screen frame you have, you may or may not have to remove the adjustment screws. I discarded the adjustment screws.
