Q:will a diecast lock fit on a screen sliding door of any material , im not sure if the door is diecast

The material of your sliding screen door is most likely aluminum, but if this is the latch kit you need, just make sure the dimensions match your existing hardware, or the holes where a previous one would have been mounted.
