A: Do you have water pressure without the faucet installed? How was the flow of the faucet you replaced?
by|May 5, 2023
A: This should not be the case. Can you check how much water goes into the faucet? If that's OK then the faucet has a problem. If not, then check the supply.

A: Mine, two, were just installed by a Plumber. Both were leaking from under the top cap, which I assume is the vacuum breaker cap. I installed the hose to a new faucet and it stopped leaking. Surprised and pleased. Meanwhile, on the other - the plumber installed a 1/2 inch plug into that area. Now I am stuck for the plug is sticking up just enough so that the cap won't sit on it tightly. I am planning to get another, and the plumber said he will trade it out (free). I will then take the original back to the store as defective. Yet, I now wonder if the real fix is merely attaching the hose and with use, that cap seals. I'd appreciate your trying this and letting me know if it works. (Like the handle size a lot).
