Answer This Question
A: The 910-034 is the hot-side faucet and turns clockwise to open the valve.
The 910-013 is the cold side and turns counter-clockwise to open.
You'd obviously want one of each when replacing the existing valves.

A: The 034 turns counter-clockwise to turn off and is the only one that can be used on the hot side of lever handled faucet sets because of handles not clearing each other. It is hard to find and must usually be special ordered. Both the 034 and the 013 are listed as hot/cold replacements which is a little confusing. I've never found an associate in any store who knew anything about this.

A: The end washer (that creates the actual seal against the valve seat, to stop water flow) is a 8-W3/8L ... at about 10 cents each ... , but just take the valve to your local HD or a faucet supply store and they will help you. The other washer shown ... the "bonnet washer" ... is included with any new valve.

A: You'd use a standard 8-W3/8L flat washer on the end, if you eventually need to replace it. The bonnet washer comes with the stem. Just go to a faucet/plumbing store or to a Home Depot with valve and they will help you.
A: Standing in the tub, facing the controls: Stem/valve 910-034 (132459) turns on with a CLOCKWISE rotation. Stem/valve 910-013 (132409) turns on with a COUNTER-CLOCKWISE rotation. I bought both at the same time (and assume the products were in the correct packages).
The package for 910-034 (132459) is marked for "Hot Lever Only" but it really depends how you want the valves to turn off.
