Q:How does the spark ignition work? Is it better then electric ignition
by|Feb 25, 2021

Answer This Question

A:  You can go you our website, premierrange.com, to see a video on how to use the Battery ignition range. Biggest difference between a battery ignition and a electric ignition is the battery ignition range uses 8 AA batteries to create the spark to ignite the gas and the electronic ignition uses the power from an outlet to ignite the gas. Battery ignition ranges are good for people who live off grid or have a cabin with no electricity or do not have an outlet within 4 ft of the range.

Q:When it says the height is 40" is that at the back of the stove or the height to the cook top?

        Answer This Question

A:  The height for the cooktop is 37 inches so the 40 inch must refer to the back splash of the stove . I am a woman average height 5-6/7 and it’s perfect height for me and I’ve never had a better performing stove in my life

        by|Jul 4, 2019

A:  It is the back of the stove. When installed in a run of cabinets with countertop there are no issues.

A:  Yes they are very easy to replace. You can go to Youtube and watch this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ODdeAVoTLE0) or I took three pictures from that video (Premier Ranges Video) witch I have attached.

A:  The range will come with a battery pack that will take 8 AA batteries (Batteries are not included) and the pack is inserted in the toe kick on the bottom of the range over to the right side if you are standing in front of the range.

                  Answer This Question

A:  I'm probably a little more proactive about the battery issue then some people because I live so far out . I change them every six months. I don't wait for the stove to not work because I cook a lot and I depend on it more than most people might who could just run down to the corner store or a restaurant or a deli close by if their stove isn't working or they discover they're out of batteries.. And that 6 month cycle has served me well. Do you have trouble firing up your oven? that's the only problem with the stove that I've encountered so far. it lights eventually but a lot of fiddling around with the dial to get it to fire up. otherwise I love Love love this stove.

Q:Is the stove natural gas or LP gas, if it is natural gas have needs to be done to change it over to Lp gas?

                    Answer This Question

A:  It comes as Natural Gas and needs to be converted, ( by the consumer) the burners on top work fine, but the oven seems to be defective,( we followed the directions carefully) it has incomplete combustion and stinks up the kitchen with Propane exhaust, I would not recommend this stove, I called the manufacturer and they would not respond to my complaints and local repair places will not work on this brand.
