A:  Conntek Locking Adapter with 15 Amp 125 Volt Male Plug To 30 Amp Female Connector I went to Amazon and put in a search and this is what I found...I'm having the same problem with a dryer. I had to return and reorder now that I figured out what to do due to living in a prewar walk up apartment...electrician is a costly option...I hope this helps...the adapter in the picture looks like it might be the one, however you want to see the entire product prior to purchasing and check the info on your appliances to locate the compatable adapters in order to be safe.
