Q:I have a smaller snow thrower that accepts only TruFuel, which can be quite expensive after a while and using regular unleaded fuel causes damage to the carburetor. I don't want to have to spend that kind of money on a small can of TruFuel for a heavy duty snow thrower like this one. Does the PR305ES take regular unleaded or is TruFuel required? Thanks.

A:  Regular unleaded gasoline with a minimum 87 octane rating is satisfactory for the snow blower.

A:  Hi Marija, I'm Travis from The Home Depot. Thanks for visiting our site. I'm sorry to hear that your snow thrower has topped working. I assume from your statement that the engine is operating, but the auger is not. If there were an obstruction that is preventing the auger from turning, it seems to me that the engine would bog down when the auger was engaged. If there is no change in the engine speed when the auger drive is initiated, the belt might be dislocated. The auger is belt driven and the belt may have broken or might have come off of its pulley. Refer to the owner's manual on page 15 for instructions to service the belt. Copy and paste this address for the manual: http://www.homedepot.com/catalog/pdfImages/f8/f8232544-4a9f-4d81-8105-5b3a49fc19c4.pdf I hope that this information helps you to get your machine up and running. Thank you for asking, -Travis
