Q:Is this a dumping trailer - i can release a pin and allow the backend to dump contents of trailer?

Q:Can the rails be put on and taken off easily? Or once they are put on are they permanent?

A: Short answer is yes, they are not permanent, but it will require you to loosen five bolts. You will need to use the hex key wrench on the top side. I would recommend appropriate deep well sockets for the nut side.

A: They aren't quick release, but with the right tools (and a good storage solution so you don't lose the hardware) they can be removed.

A: Not easily, once installed I will not attempt to remove. Too many bolts to put on and take off to consider this easy.

Q:the product width and depth are confusing? If depth is 55" , is that the assembled front to back measurement? And if so, then what is the 42" measurement? can you relate the measurements to the picture some how?

A: I'm guessing the 42" is across because the 55" is definitely the length. All I know is, I'm glad I spent the extra dollars on it, and it fits perfectly!

A: 42” is the width of the metal frame that is on the front top of the trailer. This side kit only has 3 sides. None needed on the back.
