Stainless steel wood screws come standard with the awning, but you need to use the screws that best match the material you are screwing into. For example, if you are screwing in to masonry, brick or concrete, you would want to use stainless steel screws or stainless steel lag shields (anchors) and stainless steel screws. You always want to use screws that won't corrode when exposed to the weather.
