A:  No. The GuardWise windows do not have FL Approvals or a Notice of Acceptance (NOA)

    A:  GuardWise windows are installed with mortar. They are mortared at the sill and both jambs.Expansion material is installed at the top joint and then that joint is caulked. ProVantage will not work with a GuardWise window. That installation is used for a block by block installation.

      A:  Normally, the vent is in the center course or one course above center. Any other location would need to be specifiec at time of order.

        A:  The GuardWise windows are available in nominal sizes between 12x18 and 40x48." The closest available for your opening would be 30x48. (actual size = 28-3/4" x 46-1/2").The vents are normally 6" or 8" high and the length differs according to the length of the window.

          A:  Yes, you can use the GuardWise 28x46" window in your shower. The model number for the 28" wide and 46" high GuardWise window is S2846IS. Ordering the 28x46 instead of the 46x28 will position the glass blocks within your window to be more visually correct.
