Q:Are the Decora pattern glass block windows all the same color glass?
by|Sep 22, 2014
1 Answer
Answer This Question
A: That would be just how they are listed. All of our glass blocks are clear. Any "discoloration" of the glass is due to the iron content in the sand that the glass is made from. We try to remove as much of the iron content as possible for a clear glass.

Q:Regarding the 36x18 decora glass block window - Can i specify the location of the dryer vent? And, Can i stack two 36x18 windows on top of each other?
by|Jun 25, 2014

Answer This Question
A: Yes you can specify your dryer vent location at the time of the order. To install one GuardWise window on top of another, run a double bead of Pittsburgh Corning Glass Block Sealant along the top of the bottom window, install ThinLine Track Spacers (120610) on top of the sealant. Apply another double bead of sealant to the top of the spacer and set the top window on top of the sealant. Finish joint with a bead of the sealant on both sides of the window.
