A:  If you use the ProVantage II Installation, you r/o width should be 8-1/4" - that leave you with 1-1/2." You could trim out with 1x's on both sides and that would bring you to 8-1/4." In addition to the glass blocks, you will need ProVantage Vertical Spacers (use as Horizontal Spacers), Expansion Strips (cut to 7-1/2" and use between the glass blocks and sides), ProVantage Anchors, Pittsburgh Corning Glass Block Sealant, ProVantage Glass Block Surface Grout (if finishing joints with grout. you can use either grout or glass block sealant to finish the joints), Grout sealer if finishing joints with grout, 1-1/2" Flat Head Stainless Steel Screws - 2/anchor.

A:  There are 48 complete spacers (96 halves) per pack.

A:  The mortar spacers create a 1/4" joint. The maximum recommended mortar joint is 5/8" and the minimum is 1/8." for a joint size other than 1/4", you could create your own spacer or free lay the blocks.
