      A:  I'd use stainless screws. Type of screw depends on what you are attaching it to. Wood screws to wood. Self tapping to metal. Tapcon to brick or concrete. You can also attach with hinges if you want them operational.

      Q:How many slats/louvres are there in the top half and how many in the bottom half? What is the "height" (top to bottom dimension) of a single slat/louvre? I'm trying to match an existing set of shutters...would like to be sure the number and height of the slats match my existing ones.

      A:  The individual louvers are 1-7/32" in width. For the 63"H shutter there are 25 louvers on the top half and 24 louvers on the bottom half.

        Q:I need the shutters to be 59" H by 16" W and bottom panel 4" H with top and middle panels 2" H with both sides 1 3/8" W. Does this match up with any of your shutters.

        A:  Custom sizes can only be ordered in store. Our stiles come in 1 1/2" or 1 3/4".

                A:  The rail sizes are: stile - 1-1/2", top rail - 2", bottom rail 3-1/4" and center rail -2-1/4". A special order for one single shutter can be ordered at your local Home Depot store. A sales associate in the millwork department can assist you.
