Q:I have rats eating through my window screens. I need a heavy gauge they will not chew through.

Answer This Question
A: first i would recommend trapping the rats out. for everyone's safety you don't want rats around your house or anywhere near you or your family.
second there are different grades of screen. Look for security screen material. This is much heavier and will keep people out as well (if installed
properly) Be aware this type of material is expensive. Buying some traps might be more cost effective and safer in the long run-if you can get ahead
of the problem. you may also want to contact your local governmental agency for assistance. for a temporary fix you might be able to double up on your
screen material. whatever you do; i wish you luck!

A: I think this will work for you with the problem with your rats!! This screen is really strong and I don't think that a rat would go thru this screen. There is no place for a rat to try to come thru.
