Answer This Question

A:  We offer professional services through Home Depot vetted third party companies. To get information on services offered in your area, please visit proreferral.com and the company selected should reach out to you and provide pricing and scheduling information. However if install is not available in your area through Home Depot is because no local company has registered with us.

          Answer This Question

A:  Thank you for your question, Connie! The cut-out for the medium Plastic Pet Door is a little larger than 9x13. Although you could certainly use it in this area, you would need to enlarge the cut-out a little bit first.

            Answer This Question

A:  Thank you for your great question, Vicki. The Plastic Pet Door would not be a good option for installing in a screen. Instead, you may want to consider our Pet Screen Door: https://www.homedepot.com/p/PetSafe-8-in-x-9-1-4-in-Pet-Screen-Door-P1-ZB-11/301451419

Q:I just move to a home that a doggie door had been remove, the cut out is 11x 15 what size doggie door do I get to fit this opening

                Answer This Question

A:  Thank you for your question! The Medium size of this door uses a cut-out that measures 9 ¼” x 14”, while the Large size uses a cut-out that measures 11 ¼” x 19”, so it's likely that your current cut-out would need to be modified in some way for these to fit properly.

A:  We are very sorry to hear your door did not include a flap, Libby! This is certainly unusual as all of our doors will include at least one flap for the initial setup of the door. We definitely want to help you out with this and ask that you please reach out to us directly at 1-800-732-2677 for further assistance.

A:  Yes, your door should have had a flao. Contact the seller and ask for another one. Also, for future, if the flap rips (which it will after years of use) you can Google the make/ model of the door and get a replacement flap.

A:  Should come with a flap. Never have seen a doggie door come without one. You can buy a flap separately but it should have one in the box. I have a kennel and have never had one come without a flap. You need to take it back to the store and exchange it in my opinion.
