    Q:The mounting brackets on all four shades ($225 spent) seem to be defective because the spring steel clip will not stay in place on the body of the shade. After snapping the shade into place, the clips immediately pop off the shades during installation. Recommendations??

    A:  Dear Valued Home Depot Customer, We have reached out to the manufacturer and their answer is,This product only can cut down by factory.We don’t recommend shorten the slat due to cordless spring system.If blind longer than your window, There will be extra pleats towards the bottom, but they stack up very nicely and thin so it will be barely noticeable.
